The Self-Reclamation Project

hosted by Dr. Suzanne Manser

More about Suzanne and the SRP!

I'm a clinical psychologist living with my husband and two kids in Portland, Oregon. I've been a therapist since the mid-1990's, and I've been on my own healing journey for even longer. My personal journey is documented in the self-help memoirĀ I Hate You (A Love Letter to My Mother): Healing Paper Cuts, Mother Wounds, and Intergenerational Pain. It's been a long and winding road to say the least, but man has it been worth it! My life is richer, more connected, more authentic, and more interesting than I ever thought it could be.

Over the decades, I've collected and created dozens of tools to help us show up for ourselves and create lives we deeply want to live in. I use them every day in my own life and in my private practice, but I've never put them together in a cohesive program like this! The Self-Reclamation Project covers a lot of ground, and we also go deep. The goal is for you to actually, literally change your life.

The SRP is a space for you to learn powerful information and tools, and then actively use them to explore, grow, and maybe even play a little. It's a space for you to learn how to prioritize yourself and take yourself seriously. It's a space for you to learn to be at home with yourself and be a home for yourself.

In addition to the material I'll be posting for you to work with, you'll also have access to the SRP Community. This is a space for your to communicate with other SRP members any time about anything related to this work. There will also be fun challenges most months to help us connect with each other as well as with ourselves.
